Sophie Kilner

“Discipline > Motivation”

At 17 years old, Sophie decided to level up her training at the gym and got her very first trainer. Not only did this result in a shift from aesthetic to performance goals, but it also lead Sophie to powerlifting, and the same year she competed in her very first powerlifting competition. Sophie’s coach inspired her to begin working in the fitness industry. Sophie loves being a trainer as she is able to help others find their true potential and watch their confidence grow.

For those new to fitness, Sophie says it’s important to be disciplined and not rely on motivation, as it won’t always be there. She reminds us that “eventually, fitness will become a part of your everyday routine”.

Sophie’s training style is customised for each client she works with dependant on their various goals, and focuses on technique and form.

In her down time, Sophie loves heading to the beach, whether it be for a long coastal walk or to go for a dip and relax!

What would be your first question after waking up from being cryogenically frozen for 100 years?

Where’s my dog?

If you were an animal, what would you be and why?

What's your favourite meal?

Sushi! I’d eat it every day if I could
