Chrissie Barcock

Chrissie has always enjoyed exercise, dancing and running long distance when she was younger. She joined the gym at 16 years old and fell in love with the gym so much she decided to do her personal training certification a few years later.

Chrissie wanted to further educate herself about the gym, training and her body, and now loves being a role model to her clients. She enjoys passing this knowledge onto her clients to help them reach their health and fitness goals while finding a sustainable balance in their lives.

For those thinking about getting into the gym, Chrissie says “just start today”. Focus on gaining strength as opposed to aesthetics and the results will follow. Don’t compare yourself to others and focus on your own journey.

Chrissie describes her training style as weight training combining strength training and hypertrophy training.

Outside of the gym, Chrissie loves to bake! Thick New York style cookies and biscoff brownies are her favourite. She also loves walking her dog, hiking, coastal walks and spending time in nature.
